Photographic Expeditions & Tours
I have just returned from the expedition to the Antarctic Peninsula and South Georgia (24th March 2008) some of these images are available online and a limited edition book is also available.
My next photographic tour is to India: 27th December 2008 to 18th January 2008 through Sydney University Continuing Education.
This 22 day tour offers photographers of all levels of experience an outstanding opportunity to expand their skills in an extraordinarily stimulating environment. The locations have been selected not only to offer unique cultural experiences but also to cover as many aspects of this diverse land as possible - from the mysteries of Delhi to the mountain hideaways of the British Raj, from the beauty of the Taj Mahal to the colourul state of Rajasthan and the forests and grasslands of Kanha National Park where the tigers roam and wildlife is abundant. The time will fly by as we journey across this subcontinent brimming with visual delights. Nine photographic workshops will be conducted during the tour.

Australia, Red Centre Discovery
This is the year to fulfil your yearning to visit the Red Centre - join us on these journeys designed specifically for people who have an interest in photography.
Grenville Turner and Discovery Ecotours invite you to come and spend an exceptional few days, in and around Central Australia. Take the opportunity to enjoy a special experience discovering the great photographic opportunities that surround us in this stunning landscape. Joining Grenville will be one of our local, passionate nature guides who will take delight in interpreting the natural and cultural heritage values of this region for you. The group will be very small between 6-12 people, which enables us to create a more personalised and intimate touring experience.
One aim of this trip is to expose participants to information, situations and environments from an expert photographer's perspective. This will give you the tools and knowledge to become just as good at recording your life through photos as any professional. As Grenville himself says, With just a few very simple tips, anyone, even with the cheapest cameras, can take vastly better shots. In reality the gear that you use is only about 20% of the work - the other 80% is the situation, the mood, the lighting. We do all this while exploring one of the most ancient and unchanged landscapes of the world.
