Photographic Tours
All of my photographic tours are designed to improve your knowledge and appreciation of photography in addition to providing a unique experience and opportunity to capture outstanding images. The tours include a variety of workshops and interactive sessions, as well as input from the naturalist guides to provide you with information on the natural history of the area's travelled. Detailed photographic notes will be provided. My photographic tours and safaris in Australia are facilitated by highly regarded touring companies.
Photographic Walking Tours
One of the best ways to photograph the environment is to become a nomad and walk through the landscape. In 2012 you can join me on one of two award-winning walks that promise to deliver extraordinary photographic opportunites.
Tasmania
Cradle Mountain Overland Track
In November 2012 I will host a 4 day fully guided walk along Tasmania's famed Overland Track. This track crosses serene mountains, skirts around calm lakes and exposes the enthusiastic photographer to some of Australia's most stunning scenery.
The walk starts at Waldheim in Cradle Valley goes south along the Overland Track and then west along the Innes Track to Arm River near Lake Rowallan, all located withing the spectacular Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park and Tasmania World Herritage Area.
Each day we will walk between 10 and 12 kilometers arriving at a private hut complete with hot showers, twin share rooms and delicious meals with Tasmanian wine. At the end of each day there will be time for a short interactive workshop.

Bay of Fires
The Bay of Fires Walk is an award-winning guided walk in the Mt William National Park named in the category 'Top 10 Regions' in Lonely Planet's Best in Travel in 2009. This magnificent wilderness coastline will seduce you with its dramatic landscape, ecology and wildlife.
Join me in September 2012 to explore the pristine East Coast of Tasmania on a 4 day workshop/tour at the Bay of Fires. You will be based at the award-winning Bay of Fires Lodge each day we traverse this wonderfully remote landscape and seascape to capture awe-inspiring images.
Each evening enjoy sumptuous meals created from fresh Tasmanian produce and review the day's experience in an intereactive workshop.
Photographers with a keen interest in landscape, nature and macro photography will be inspired.

You will cruise billabongs in the early morning to photograph crocodiles, birdlife and other animals in the landscape. You will take a 4WD tour into the Mary River Wetlands National Park and visit Kakadu National Park to capture stunning flora, fauna and impressive vistas of the Arnhem Land escarpment.

Central Australian Photographic Safari
This 6-day photographic safari combines the beauty, natural wonder and timelessness of some of the best locations in Central Australia with a photographic focus.
