Travel Photography

We all take a camera on holiday, but how often are we disappointed by the end result of our enthusiastic snapping? Through discussion, demonstration and a short walking tour photo shoot, I will show you how to get the most from your travel photography. Suitable for all levels of photographers.

You will be introduced to the concepts of documentary photography, portrait photography, landscape photography and become proficient at understanding how to create a compelling visual account of your travels. You will learn what is the best equipment to carry based on the less is more principle and find out how to best manage digital files while on the road.

The workshop will also cover identifying photographic opportunities in new locations and shooting in inclement weather so you can make the best out of a bad situation.
